I would like people to know the following facts about Dory Maust:
She’s a very courageous, yet extremely sensitive and vulnerable woman, who couldn’t lie if her life depended on it.
She undertook the burden of this book with three primary goals in mind:
• To help save future lives by revealing all the facts surrounding David Maust in the hope of triggering the so
called professionals to amend the mistakes in the judicial system which permitted a man, who stated clearly he
had no business being released back into society, to kill again, and again, and again.
• To call attention to the childhood conditions which molded David Maust, in an effort to alert people who
might witness such spawning grounds to beseech the proper authorities to rectify such situations and treat the
young damaged psyches before they, like David, cross the point of no return.
• To reveal the truth of what really happened and expose the lies surrounding David Maust and his victims.
She has emotionally died countless times through this work in the recreation of the tragic events while at the
same time having to endure vicious verbal attacks on top of dealing with a series of traumatic events in her
personal life. Through it all she refused to relent, expending all her energies and passion on researching and
writing the book, denying herself any true form of respite until her mission was completed.
